Barbados -
As with many Caribbean islands that face the Atlantic, such as St Lucia and others, you'll find the eastern shore to be quite rough as the relentless pounding of deep ocean waves give little room for sand to accumulate and form beaches.
The Caribbean side of the island is entirely different - strewn with silver sand beaches everywhere. Barbados has just about every conceivable activity covered: horseback riding, golf, cricket, and great snorkeling and diving.
